Chamaerops Excelsa

It is a tropical climate plant, found in Southwest Europe and Northwest Africa, and may grow up to 5 m height and 45 cm as diameter. Petioles are less spiny or spineless. Some varieties are dwarf and some are growing tall. They can be cultivated in sandy, seaside and rock areas. They can be planted solitary or in bundles.
